Postcolonialism

So of all the books on Mommy's bookshelf, that was the title of the one I grabbed and started reading. Go figure.

Bath-time!

It's fun.

My future lies in...apples?

I had my Annaprasana ceremony this weekend--slightly belatedly, as I've been eating solid food for quite some time (it's supposed to mark the introduction to solids, but my mom is a bit slow to get around to things sometimes). The highlight came after the puja, when my destiny was revealed: fruit, money, jewelry, books, and a guitar were laid out in front of me, and whatever I chose would indicate my future preferences.

Apples are shiny! And red! And they roll around nicely, with a slightly unpredictable wobble!

Given extra time, I also played with the books and the guitar before hightailing it over to Mom. No filthy lucre for me (that's what Dad is for!).

Carousel

Water Baby

I'm crazy about swimming, just like my mom. And dolphins--or at least, people who watch dolphins. Here's me at the Sea World dolphins & whales show, and in the swimming pool at our hotel. Now, if only I could combine the two loves, and swim in the dolphins & whales show...something to work toward for the next trip to Orlando.

Camera-Shy? Not I!

Over my vacation in Orlando, I perfected the art of posing for the camera. Exhibits 1-3 are attached.

Tour des Cheerios

I REALLY love Cheerios.

Feeding myself is harder than I thought.

Playing and crawling. That's the agenda.

It's definitely winter

In daddy's office

Been a while

It's been a while, so out of guilt I will refrain from commentary and just post some pictures. Give the people what they want, that's what I always say.

Prison Break--Writers' Strike Edition

Take a close look at the following sequence. It's the storyboard for my pitch to Fox.

Happy 2008!

I'm back! I haven't posted in a while because I've been trying to help my parents out through a particularly busy period. I've tried my best to distract them--learning to crawl, stand, and say "mom"--but to no avail. So here are some pics from my Uncle Ravi's wedding. Welcome to the fam, Amber Auntie!
